Hodgson hat-trick seals Giants win And No malice in Yeaman hit

The Huddersfield star was forced to leave the field after a ferocious but fair hit from the England centre during the Giants' 34-20 win at the KC Stadium. The tackle caused a five minute delay in the game and referee Thierry Alibert awarded a penalty, much to the surprise of Hull boss Richard Agar who thought such a big hit would immediately result in a yellow card despite it being fair."It was a fast and tough collision and a big call when we were coming back into it,"I hope Grix is all right, as you don't want to see anyone brought off like that. But how on earth can they construe that any point of that is high?" he added.Giants coach Nathan Brown agreed with his counterpart and argued that it was simply part of the game.

Hodgson made the most of his chances to cross the whitewash three times in a hard fought victory at the KC Stadium.Former Hull star Danny Brough was in fine form against his old club, as the former Scotland international notched up 14 points in an impressive performance. The scrum-half set up tries for two of his team-mates and grabbed one for himself just 10 minutes before the final whistle. This win now moves Huddersfield back level on points with Warrington Wolves at the top of the Super League table after 15 games of the season. The Giants have arguably been one of the most improved sides in the top flight this season and they will be looking for another two points when they face Castleford Tigers in their next outing.
